The Toddler Room at the Ronald McDonald House in Southern New Jersey

Indoor Jungle Gym and Farm Tractor

Working with Mike Scotko, of Marco Polo Design, family and friends assisted with the concept behind Johnny's indoor play house. Upon entering the toddler room, it would appear as if you were out on a deck overlooking a back yard. This area will serve as the sitting room for parents to wait, watch TV or read while the toddlers play inside the "clubhouse". The children’s areas include an imaginary kitchen where children can prepare and serve food. There is also a tractor with a farmers market, a faux drive-in TV/DVD, a reading nook and a jungle gym where the toddlers could climb under, over, around and through it. I’m sure this will serve as a secret hideout regardless of the time of day or the weather outside.

Johnny's playhouse was completed in March 2011. The Grand opening and dedication was held on April 7, 2011.
